We regret to inform you that there was a mixup with the CD packaging and the sticker placed on the front. The CD was stickered with the LP sticker claiming there was a 'download card with bonus tracks', the download card was mistakenly not included inside the CD package. So, here it is for your downloadable pleasure. Sorry for the mass confusion and inconvenience. We truly appreciate your support and understanding!
Last year our friends at Valve, the creators of some of the best videogames in the world, called us. They said that diehard Portal fans had been clamoring for a compilation of the music from the Portal games. Well, as fate would have it, we are gamers too! Voila! A 4-disc set of more Portal music than you will find anywhere and a nifty, top secret bonus too! This is beyond a stocking stuffer, the Portal 2: Songs to Test By soundtrack is a gamer/music fans dream! Play on, we say!!!!!!
See what the folks at Pitchfork are saying about the upcoming ISIS compilation, "Temporal" (out next Tuesday, Nov 6th!)
Tomahawk in New Orleans
Planning on going to New Orleans to be one of the first to check out the return of Tomahawk at the VooDoo Music Experience festival on October 28th? We just found out the band will be going on at 5pm on the Le Carnival stage. A little earlier than expected due to curfew. Don't miss it, it's going to be fun!
Hooray for Hollywood!
We wanted to let you know, that Mike Patton just wrapped up his score for the much buzzed about film, The Place Beyond the Pines. This is the new film by acclaimed director Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine), who chose Patton to provide the music.
The film stars Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes and Rose Byrne. It got rave reviews at the recent Toronto International Film Festival and is slated for a 2013 release.
The Place Beyond the Pines is the multi-generational story of a motorcycle stunt rider (Gosling), who considers committing a crime in order to provide for his newborn child, an act that puts him on a collision course with a cop-turned-politician (Cooper).
See you at the movies!

Ghostigital Is Back!
As you know, from time to time we like to pimp releases that are not even on our label. Great music is great music! Well, our dear friends Einar and Curver are back with more Ghostigital "DIVISION OF CULTURE & TOURISM". This release includes an appearance by King Buzzo and production help by Alap from Dälek.
“I’m in the process of thinking nothing.” – Einar Örn, “Numb”
Six full years after bombarding the world with their second album; the teutonic and brilliantly chaotic In Cod We Trust, Ghostigital are well and truly back. Comprised of “art of noise” blood brothers, Einar Örn Benediktsson and Curver Thoroddsen, the time has been well spent in various sonically challenging projects but first and foremost recording their third album, Division of Culture & Tourism. Here, the dynamic duo take their genre-bending, visionary noise-maelstrom to yet another level, assisted by a potpourri of “cultural tourists” including rappers (Dälek, Sensational), guitar gods (King Buzzo from noise-rock crunchers Melvins), art punks (David Byrne of Talking Heads fame, Alan Vega from seminal 70’s band Suicide) an alt-rock sideman extraordinaire (Nick Zinner from The Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and a brit pop maestro (Damon Albarn). To top this of, the legendary Icelandic experimental/noise group Stilluppsteypa opens the album with their own tune, especially written for Ghostigital. The album was recorded in various states in the USA and in B109 in Reykjavik. It was mixed in New Jersey by Alap Momin (Dälek),
Besides being a musical doctor of all things odd, Ghostigital front man Einar Örn has a day job as a Reykjavik city councillor which informs the title of their third album, Division of Culture & Tourism. Or not. On this release, he sings as if country-western music legend Bob Wills returned as a hellish punk wailer and began co-fronting industrial band Throbbing Gristle.
Aforementioned like minded confrontationalists like David Byrne are along for the ride, finding themselves happily stranded in various aurally challenging situations (like when Byrne and Einar take on a nerd battle in the beautifully, yet surrealistically, flowing “Dreamland”. Byrne sings about the Dreamland and Einar snaps back: “Spaceland!”).
Einar Örn and his producer partner Curver weave a sonic fabric that feels familiar while at the same time being part of today’s experimental industrial avant-garde. Ghostigital throws the mix forward, hoping the medicinal sonic soup will heal the listener from boredom and apathy, or at least make them boogie. And if things pan out well, make them comfortable with their inner oddball.
...craving pure musical impurity, that's what it's all about really...

Make History With the Melvins!!!!
The debut release from Melvins Lite titled “Freak Puke” is out now! In this configuration, Buzzo and Dale or joined by none other then Trevvy Dunn (Fantômas, Mr Bungle, Tomahawk, MadlLove, Trio Convulsant, etc.) on upright bass.
