Le Butcherettes Premiere new Song “Shave the Pride” via NPR; Reveal A Raw Youth Album Cover
Le Butcherettes, who are in the midst of the Chaos As Usualtour with the Melvins, have debuted “Shave The Pride” via NPR (http://www.npr.org/sections/allsongs/2015/07/14/421138241/song-premiere-le-butcherettes-shave-the-pride). The song comes from the Mexican trio’s forthcoming album, A Raw Youth (Sept. 18, Ipecac Recordings). The track, which Teri Gender Bender said was originally titled Pogonophobia, the fear of beards, is a commentary on societal apathy. “The outrage and frustration are this time directed in particular to society’s ‘beard’, explains Gender Bender. “The beard symbolizes our unwillingness to view all perceptions of the story, empathy, angles, life… hiding behind the mass… mass media, laziness, etc.”

Rolo Tomassi Sign To Ipecac Recordings
Rolo Tomassi, the female-fronted British band NME dubbed “mathcore noise bastards (and bastress),” release their North American debut album, Grievances, on July 7 via Ipecac Recordings.
The band, which hails from Sheffield, formed in 2005, taking their name from the film L.A. Confidential. While Rolo Tomassi have yet to release an album Stateside, the band has toured the U.S. with Jane’s Addiction, joined Dillinger Escape Plan on their European outing and saw their 2010 album, Cosmology, produced by Diplo. Pitchfork said singer Eva Spence is, “equally comfortable singing in a glassy, ethereal coo and a glasses-shattering screech.”

The Melvins return to the road with the continuation of their Hold It In tour kicking off June 6 in Tucson at Club Congress. The tour announcement comes along with the June 2 reissue of “The Bulls & The Bees/Electroretard”
The Melvins released "Hold It In" in October, the 12-song album pairs Osborne and Crover with Butthole Surfers' JD Pinkus and Paul Leary. Osborne, Crover and Pinkus will be the touring line-up for this run of dates with labelmates Le Butcherettes opening. Le Butcherettes released Cry Is For The Flies in September and had joined the Melvins on the first leg of the Hold It In tour.
A little delay...
It seems that crazy weather that hit the East coast the past few weeks, closed down the production plants for several days and delayed the Faith No More Superhero seven-inch just a bit. It will now be in stores on Monday March 23rd.
We truly appreciate your support and understanding!
Zu premieres title track from the March 24th release of “Cortar Todo” on The Quietus
Zu are preparing to release their first new full-length in five years, titled Cortar Todo and due out via Ipecac Recordings on the rapidly approaching release date of March 23rd. The Quietus has revealed the title track, an intensely rhythmic beast that seeps industrial fluid and volatile flames of brass-bending static, and is symptomatic of the roaming, alien sounds of the album.

Don't forget, you can still listen to 'Rudra Dances Over Burning Rome' at the Ipecac Soundcloud page - https://soundcloud.com/ipecacrecordings/zu-rudra-dances-over-burning-rome/s-ut0Z5
Cortar Todo reveals new dynamics from the band, the album is more direct, sharp, focussed, and more intense and musical than anything we have heard from Zu so far. Check out the artwork and track listing below.
- The Unseen War
- Rudra Dances Over Burning Rome
- Cortar Todo
- A Sky Burial
- Orbital Equilibria
- Serpens Cauda
- No Pasa Nada
- Conflict Acceleration
- Vantablack Vomitorium
In addition to the album release, we can expect a long period of touring starting in May 2015.
